In 279, the Slave Rebellion has been invited by the Silver Forests of Remunzia for talks on the ending of slavery. After the discussion the Slave Rebellion turned hostile, and attacked the communications infrastructure of the Remunzians. Quickly thereafter they demanded — in the guise of the Remunzian government — the immediate abolishment of Slavery in the Union.

In reaction to the news that the Slave Rebellion was in talks with the Silver Forests of Remunzia, several Union members immediately started building up their military activity.

In 288 Slave Rebellion Fleet 7 entered the Adii Nasla System and started a blockade to prevent development goods from entering the system. In reaction the Veolian Commonwealth sent two of its fleets (the Veolian Imperial Fleet and the First Shebi Fleet) to the system to battle the Slave Rebellion invaders. The Veolian fleets were soon joined by fleets from the Astrian Colonial Navy First Fleet of the Astrian Colonial Authority, and the Praetorian Primary Fleet of the Praetorian Empire.

Together, the Union factions had a significant advantage over the Slave Rebellion fleets, and a timely intelligence report from the Union further increased their dominance in the battle space. With the superiority of the Union fleets demonstrated, the Slave Rebellion forces position themselves in a position that forces their troops to fight or die. They reposition their whole fleet against the energized atmosphere of Nayi. Eventually, the Slave Rebellion fleet is incapacitated in 297, after which the Veolian and Astrian fleets handle the destruction of remaining vessels and the taking of prisoners while the Praetorian fleet immediately disengages.

In 288, three Union Military fleets arrive in 12 -3, quickly joined by the Veh Halitra 1st Hiocan Fleet. The combined might of the union fleets is enough to push the Slave Rebellion fleets into chaos. The Slave Rebellion offers an ultimatum: “Disengage and withdraw your forces from this system, or all fire will be redirected at Remunzia's population centres.”

Admiral Alexander Giambastiani immediately replies that there will be no negotiations. In reply, the Slave Rebellion fleets launch nuclear weapons at the most densely populated area's, millions of lives being wiped out almost instantly. At the same time, the Slave Rebellion launches volleys of surface to orbit missiles from stealthily constructed defence planetary defense installations.

As the main body of the Hiocan fleet enters the atmosphere to interpose itself between the population centers and the Slave Rebellion fleets, the Union defence fleets start to really damage the Slave Rebelllion fleets. Eventually in 306, the Slave Rebellion fleets are destroyed and routed, establishing clear control of the system's space in favour of the Union.
